sweet buddy

One day while we were at the Vet's office with rescue dogs getting their vaccines we read a letter on the bulletin board asking for someone to take a little dog needing a new home.  We reached out to the number on the letter spoke with them regarding the little dog and specifics.  The little dog was crated most of his life on a back porch so we urgently agreed to take the dog into our rescue.  We met with them and took "Buddy" into our rescue.  We gave him a warm bath to rid him of the fleas and had him evaluated by our Vet, he needed to be vaccinated and neutered, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and so on but unfortunately, Buddy tested positive for heart worms. We did not hesitate we started his heartworm treatment with kind sponsor.  We had him neutered and vaccinated. To date Buddy is doing very well on his heartworm treatment, he loves other dogs and has a wardrobe! He is the sweetest little dog. We are so happy to have seen the letter for a plea of help for Buddy.
