A small world, the founder of RTWC Karen was at an appointment in speaking with an individual she learned the person had an injured duck that needed help. She said no Vet could assist, Karen offered help, she made contact with Kim at Carolina Wildlife Rehab Center about the injured duck, Kim said yes to assisting with the injured duck. Karen drove to NC to pick up the injured duck and transport to Kim at CWRC, it appears a snapping turtle got a hold of the duck's beak. Talk about being at the right place at the right time, this was one of those times. We are so happy to assist with getting this injured duck the help it needed.
