German Shepherd rescue. I was asked by Char Wills German Shepherd Rescue in PA if I could help with a deployment they were heading up in Augusta, WV. I agreed with no hesitation. Got all the specifics and headed out at 5:30AM Wednesday to meet them on the property. This was a case where an elderly couple could no longer care for the dogs and unfortunately the conditions were bad. The smell of mud mixed with urine and feces and bacteria was horrific. These dogs needed immediate care and that's exactly what we did. The dogs had never been on leashes or even a collar. We were able to remove all dogs from the property safely and professionally and show them proper care and kindness as they enjoyed a ride in a nice air conditioned trailer on their way to Char Wills GSD rescue facility where they will continue their vetting, grooming and assessment. We are so grateful to work with Char Wills GSD Rescue and help them save these dogs. Please visit their page if you would like to donate towards the care for these dogs or to adopt.

Hi Terri. Thank you for responding. Ben is still at my parents house because the county said he need to be quarantined there for 10 days before he can be rehomed. Can you tell me about your dad? Why is he looking to rescue? Does he have experience with giving dogs the therapy they may need to make the rehoming successful?
