Not our typical rescue but when we see an animal in need we don't look away! On two different days back to back we found two different snakes in need; one was tangled up in plastic mesh floating on a lake trying not to drown and another that was hit by a car trying to get to safer grounds. The first snake is a Brand Water Snake and the other is a juvenile Eastern Racer Snake both are nonvenomous. We want to thank Kim and her team with Carolina Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for their assistance with both snakes! Please visit their website at https://cwrcwildlife.org/ to donate!
