When we read about the call for help to transport a little 10 year old dog we did not hesitate to go to the shelter and pick him up. We picked up "Buddy" at the shelter in SC (HCACC) and transported him to his rescue in Camden, SC. He is a singer he did really good on the transport so good that he howled and sang the whole 2,.30 hour drive! We are thankful to Paws for Seniors for rescuing Buddy!

We started our Friday at 8:00AM by heading to the HCACC shelter in Conway, SC to pick up a Mom and her puppy and a Chiweeny for their rescues. We drove the beautiful Chiweeny to her foster Mom one hour north to North Carolina. Her foster Mom instantly hugged her up and got her home to a nice warm bath! Lot's of spoiling going on for sure! Then we drove 2 hours south to Pawley's Island, SC to deliver the Mom and her one pup to All 4 Paws Animal Rescue. They are did really great on the transport. We are grateful for the people involved in saving all three of these beautiful dogs and giving them a second chance at a great life! Total round trip: 5 hours
Late Monday night we received a call that the rescue for Star and Loki's brother Ralphy fell through and he was scheduled to be euthanized the next morning. We asked the shelter to put a hold on Ralphy so we could raise funds to rescue him (full vetting, neuter, and boarding care) we were given a few hours. Ralphy had already been failed twice as he was an owner surrender to the shelter and then his first rescue fell through and we were is final chance of survival. We started networking and we received some donations. We asked the shelter to extend the deadline to the afternoon as we were receiving donations but not enough to cover his rescue so they gave us a few more hours. We reached out to the public for help, at the point we reached about half we went to the shelter to pick up Ralphy, we will carry the financial burden of rescuing and will not let the animal die because of that financial burden. Ralphy is safe and reunited with his brother and sister. Thank you to everyone who donated and shared our plea for help.
We have been up and running for one year! For one whole year we did transports only in helping other rescues with their rescued animals. We are now a rescue and transport nonprofit! Our goal was to be a rescue by our one year anniversary and we did it! Our very first rescues are Star and Loki from HCACC (shelter) they are one year old brother and sister. We are so excited to have them and get them vetted and ready for adoption! Not only did we provide their freedom ride we are also providing them with a new beginning! More information about them will be located on our Available Adoptions page!
