Sick little Oliver needed a ride from the hospital to his rescue and we were happy to help. We got up and hit the road at 5:00AM driving three hours to Cary, NC to pick up Oliver. Once he was secured and comfy and ready for travel we head four hours south to All 4 Paws Animal Rescue in Pawley's Island, SC. He do really good. He threw up once but slept most of the trip. He even growled when the lady took him from me at the rescue, I think we bonded during the four hour drive. We are very grateful for the vet hospital and All 4 Paws for all the kindness and work they do for the animals. We wish Oliver all the best and get well wishes.

We had a delightful 7 hour round trip transporting Rocky and Gizmo from the Conway, SC shelter to their rescue Southern Pug and Boston Terrier Rescue in Simpsonville, SC. Rocky made us laugh the whole trip with his snorting and singing! We wish these little guys all the best in their new journey! Thank you to the rescue for helping these little guys!
We had the pleasure of being leg #17 in this three day transport. We picked Duke up in Rockville, MD and transported him to Gettysburg, PA for his next leg in the trip. He was such a sweet boy and loves to ride in the car! We wish him all the best in his new forever home!
Yesterday we loaded up the 9 puppies in travel crates and we traveled 8 hours to Maryland to their rescue, House of Hope. They did a great job on the transport and we are very happy to have the opportunity to help these puppies reach their rescue where they will start their new journey. We thank House of Hope for rescuing the puppies and we thank all involved in helping with their new journey.
We always like to help out with the rescue food run, we're not afraid of some manual labor in loading up the vehicles and transporting it to the distribution center because we know the food is going to several fosters and rescues to help feed the dogs and cats in need!
NELR rescued three Lab pups from the shelter in Whiteville, NC we accepted the transport and we were off, we picked them up and headed 100 miles to Hartsville, SC to their rescue. These three dogs made us laugh the whole trip, just happy and so friendly. We thank NELR for saving them and providing them a new journey of hope. We enjoyed the transport and wish them all the best! Total round trip: 5.30 hours.
A few days ago we were contacted by House of Hope for an urgent matter, a call for help. The Foster Mom of 9 Lab puppies had taken ill and they needed to be removed from the home and transported to Maryland. Without hesitating we got the information together got things ready and hit the road. We drove two hours to point of pick up in North Carolina. The puppies are being fostered by the owner of Roman's Travel with Care and she will transport them to House of Hope in Maryland on Wednesday, 10/14/2015. This is our first fostering and we appreciate the opportunity for the experience and the transport to Maryland. Roman has been overseeing them and letting them play with his toys!
This morning we got on the road at 6:30 and drove to Florence, SC to pick up Teddy as he is traveling North to his forever home! All kinds of cuteness and happiness he is! We transported Teddy to his next leg in the transport in Fayetteville, NC. We wish Teddy all the best with his new home! Total time: 5 hours
We came to the call for a transport of a senior dog needing a ride from the shelter to his foster Mom. So we loaded up and drove two and a half hours to Chesterfield, SC to get him. He was so scared but that all changed once we got him loaded up and headed an hour and a half to his wonderful foster Mom. He did really well on the transport and even enjoyed some of our singing! We had three detours on this transport from the roads and bridges being out from the flooding but we still managed to be there on time. We want to thank Chesterfield Animal Shelter, Lin of Forever Wild "Wildlife Rehabilitation, Education & Sanctuary" and Shelly his foster Mom. He is in really good hands! We wish him all the best in his new rescued life! Thank you for the opportunity to be your Freedom Ride! Total transport drive: 7 hours!
