We were so excited to have another kitty transport! Our second one. We were legs 10 and 11 of a three day transport from New York to Houston, TX! Ebony and Velvet (sisters) were heading to their forever home and we got the opportunity to be a part of it! We drove two hours north to Fayetteville, NC to pick them up at 8:00AM we then headed another two hours South to Manning, SC for the next leg in the transport. Once transfer was made we drove another two hours home and what a great feeling knowing we helped in the freedom ride of two sister kitties making their new journey of a loving togetherness life with a new loving family. Got luck Ebony and Velvet! Many thanks to all the transporters and rescues involved! Thank you KHTC! We enjoy being a part of the team!

East Coast Paws Transport needed help transporting a 9.5 year old blind and deaf dog "Bentley" to his new home in New Hampshire so we answered the call to fill two legs in a South Carolina/North Carolina transport. We were legs 10 & 11. We left at 5:00pm drove 2 hours to Manning, SC to meet the transport leg before us. We received Bentley and drove him to Fayetteville, NC to meet is overnight stay. He did really good on the trip. He loves belly rubs! We want to thank everyone in his rescue and transport, we are so excited for him and his new furever home! Total round trip: 6 hours
We made the 10 hour round trip from South Carolina to a shelter in Georgia to pick up Annie, Teddy and their 3 puppies. They were rescued by House of Hope in Elton, Maryland. This was part one of the total transport. We left at 5:00AM drove to Georgia picked up the Lab family and transported them back to the owner's of RTWC home where she fostered them overnight. The next morning we started the transport at 4:30AM and made the 8 hour drive to Elton, MD to House of Hope. This was part two of the transport. Everyone did very well on the trip and arrived safely at House of Hope, once Teddy was delivered to House of Hope we drove another 40 minutes into Pennsylvania to the foster family of Annie and her three puppies, this was the final run of the transport. We wish Teddy, Annie and her three puppies all the best in their new life!
Yesterday was a 7 hour round trip day, but a Georgia Pit Bull and her 5 puppies are now safe and resting with their foster mom in Wilmington, NC! We drove to Columbia, SC picked up this family and drove another 3 hours to Wilmington, NC. This was a stressful heart felt transport as two puppies had already died the night before in the shelter in Georgia, the puppies were not well and the little runt female puppy was cold and frail, time was of the essence to get this family to the foster so healing could begin. We were so afraid of the runt female puppy not surviving the transport. This transport became a medical transport needing extra care. At 6:30 PM we pulled in to meet the foster Mom and all the puppies and the Mom were doing good! We kept the little runt female puppy wrapped up in a warm blanket and massaged her the whole trip. The transport legs before us did a great job in taking good care of this family and keeping them safe and alive for the entire trip. We thank Deborah for being their foster mom and we thank the Rescue, Animal Avengers for saving this family. Thank you to everyone involved in this transport. Together we saved 6 lives!
We love all the animals we help transport and we know we are helping them in their next journey of a new beginning but we have had our first transport keeper. We transported Lola and her 10 puppies from South Carolina to House of Hope in Elkton, MD and our Maryland Director and transporter bonded with one of the puppies. He said, "she kept trying to get to me and cuddle up". We arrived at House of Hope and completed the transport, while there the little puppy kept crying and yelping when anyone would pick her up but.....when our transporter would pick her up she did no yelp or cry she cuddled right up to him. So she was adopted by the owner of RTWC (Karen) and found her furever home in Maryland. She has been named "Heidi" and has fitted in nicely with her new bigger sisters Miss Ruby and Chloe. Truly a meant to be. Thank you House of Hope and Patti for making this a furever transport keeper.
Five puppies heading from Mississippi to PA over a three day transport needed transport legs filled so we jumped in and took two legs to transport the puppies from Camden, SC to Fayetteville, NC. Our legs were at night, a 6 hour round trip but worth every mile to see these puppies safe and happy. We wish them all the best in their new journey in life.
Thank you to Needful Souls Rescue and Sanctuary. We were delighted to be a transport a second time for Lola but this time it would be Lola and her 10 puppies! Her month old puppies were ready to travel from Conway, SC to their rescue House of Hope in Elkton, MD! We left at 6:00AM picked up Lola and her puppies and arrived at House of Hope 3:45PM. They all did really good on the long trip. We thank Patti and House of Hope for all they do and giving us the opportunity to transport for them. We wish Lola and her puppies all the best!
