4 Puppies and Scooter

We had a transport scheduled for Conway shelter HCACC to pick up an owner surrender dog named Scooter and take to his rescue foster and transfer at All 4 Paws (transfer & rescue program)  then we got an urgent request to pick up three puppies from the shelter in Whiteville, NC then we got the call about another puppy needing a ride to All 4 Paws. We planned out our schedule and got the little black lab puppy in the morning then by noon traveled to Conway shelter to pick up Scooter then off to Whiteville, NC to pick up the three puppies from the shelter. We made our trip back to the foster house to pick up the little black lab puppy but while there we cleaned up the three other puppies as they were covered in fleas and feces and urine once they were cleaned up and the transport vehicle had been cleaned and treated and changed out the crates we loaded up and headed to All 4 Paws to drop off the little black puppy. Scooter and the other three puppies were rescued by Palmetto Animal League and part of the transfer program we met the overnight foster and transport to continue their freedom ride to PAL the next day.  Such great team work for everyone involved and a great program! 4 hour round trip but 4 puppies and one dog saved!
