big boy rescue!

Yesterday we answered the call for a transport for a very big boy, a 4 year old beautiful Great Dane Mix dog. I wasn't sure he would fit in my truck be he certainly did the whole back seat! He was so gentle and sad and very skinny with a tumor on his chest. I showed him some love throughout the whole freedom ride, gave him a blanket and hugs. He did so good on the trip. When I picked him up from the shelter he did not want to get in my truck I rubbed his head and told him "this is your freedom ride" then he got in. It's almost like he understood and knew I was there to help him. He was rescued by All 4 Paws and they greeted him with smiles and hugs! We wish the big boy a happy loving new journey!
