Carl and George! First kitty transport!

Yesterday we had a long day with two transports, we picked up a beautiful chocolate Lab, he did not have a name so we named him Carl. Then we got to transport our first kitty! He was also our first medical transport as he has an injured back leg. We named him George. Carl was rescued by NELR, his point of drop off was in Hartsville, SC. He slept the entire trip! Once we dropped Carl off we headed to Bluffton, SC to Palmetto Animal League. George did really good, he enjoyed my singing and we shared some tunafish then he made biscuits on the soft blanket and cuddled up with the new toy we gave him. Our entire trip was 9 hours and it was worth every mile! Life just doesnt' get any better then saving an animal's life and yesterday we got to save two! We wish Carl and George all the best on their new journey of hope and we are so honored to have been their freedom ride!
