On Saturday, August 22, 2015 we had our first Maryland transport! We were leg #7 of the transport, transporters are scheduled throughout the entire transport for the animal when there is a long duration of travel therefore each transporter selects a "leg" that they are able to fulfill. In this transport two dogs Nora and Rebel were traveling from South Carolina to New Jersey, we selected the Elkton, MD transport leg 7. We had a great time meeting Leg 6 Elizabeth and then meeting leg 8 Tory. The dogs did great and it was an awesome experience in being part of a two day transport for two great dogs and working with awesome people to make the transport a complete success! Thank you to our supporters for the recent donations so we could make this possible, our transport portion was a 4 hour round trip and the donations helped cover the gas. Good luck to Nora and Rebel in there new homes!
