Lane in the Fast Lane

Lane was running out of time, he needed urgent transport, he was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter where is was getting ready to make the "concrete walk" to his death. Save a Shelter Dog rescue was ready to rescue him from the kill shelter but needed help with transport. We gladly answered the call to help save him. We drove a 10 hour round trip from South Carolina to Augusta Georgia to pick him up and drive him north to Fayettville, NC to his connecting transport to his foster family. When we arrived to pick him up he came up to our transporter wrapped his front paws around her and laid his head on her as to say "thank you for saving my life" it doesn't get any better than that! Thank you to his rescue and all involved in saving Lane!
