Urgent Medical Transport

When we received the call for an urgent transport for a dog hit by a car and laying in the shelter in Conway we didn't have to think for one second we got the details and immediately headed to HCACC to pick up the injured dog. It was a Sunday but we transport 7 days a week 24 hours and holidays, rescue never ends and neither does transporting! We went to the shelter and waited there on standby as the rescue needed to raise funds to pay for the urgent medical care for the dog. Once things were in place and funds received we were given the go ahead to load the dog up and transport to Mt. Pleasant, SC to Veterinary Specialty Care where they would evaluate him and proceed with treatment and surgery. We drove two and half hours one way. We sang and talked to the dog the whole time just so she/he could hear a friendly caring voice. It was an emotional transport but we got her/him there. We know she/he is in good hands and wish her/him well. Thank you to All 4 Paws for rescuing this dog!! (gender of dog undetermined at time of transport because of the injuries, not able to check)
